MemoriaRO Player Guide

From your first login to endgame hunts, events and WoE: use this guide to find your next step. Features and quest routes can change as the server grows.

01 · First steps

Start playing

  1. Create your accountRegister on the website, then open the game in a supported desktop browser. The client runs in your browser; no separate patcher is needed.
  2. Make a character and choose a pathStart as a Novice, explore the class tree that fits how you want to play, and try skills before committing to a build. Summoners have their own progression path.
  3. Collect your starter suppliesNew accounts receive starter consumables and Zeny. Your first successful job change grants the bound Legacy equipment set and a class weapon; keep inventory space free.
  4. Visit PronteraTalk to the plaza guides and service NPCs. Sinko answers common questions, the free Leveling Spots guide points you toward suitable maps, and the Quest Board opens repeatable activities.

02 · Growth

Leveling and hunting

Find a good map

Use @spots for recommendations around your Base Level, or visit [Guide] Leveling Spots beside Prontera's fountain for free warps. Check a monster before traveling with @whereis or @mobinfo.

Track your progress

Turn on @showexp and @showzeny to see what each hunt earns. @rates shows server rates. The normal rates are 55× Base EXP, 55× Job EXP and 30× normal-monster item drops (materials, consumables and equipment); boss and MVP item drops stay at 15×, with scheduled bonuses shown on the website.

Try group play

Party with friends for shared hunts and instance content. The Memory Bond system adds a party EXP bonus when mentor and recruit play together. Coordinate loot rules and support roles before a boss fight.

Leveling recommendations are a starting point. Your class, equipment and party can make a different map more comfortable.

03 · Character

Build, equipment and supplies

  • Spend stats deliberately. Use @addstat to assign status points. Read skill descriptions, test a build, and ask other players before spending rare reset resources.
  • Identify and compare loot. Use @identify or @identifyall for unidentified drops and @iteminfo to inspect item information. The in-game Compendium lists item details and known ways to obtain them.
  • Use storage and town travel. @storage opens personal storage; @go travels to available towns. Some PvP, event and WoE maps block town warps.
  • Refine with care. Prontera's Hall of Ascension offers refining and other equipment services. Higher refine attempts carry risk; read the displayed material, protection and failure details before confirming.
  • Keep your consumables stocked. Kafra, the plaza market and quest vendors support different needs. Check prices and item requirements before selling materials used by quests or crafting.

04 · Explore

Quests, dailies and progression

Use the in-game Quest Tracker and HUD Guide to resume active objectives. Prontera's Adventurer's Board offers daily hunts and field contracts; regional boards and NPCs add story quests, side quests, instances and repeatable requests.

Follow the story

Episode and World Tree quests have level and prerequisite gates. Speak with the named quest NPC, read each objective, and use the Compendium or @spots when you need item or monster leads.

Plan for instances

Some quests open a personal or party instance. Bring supplies, make sure the right party members are ready, and finish the active objective before leaving. Check the instance NPC's instructions if a run expires.

Know the currencies

Zeny is the everyday trade currency. Memory Shards and other server tokens are used by specific services; quest exchanges can convert regional Explorer Bookmarks into Flame Coins. Check the NPC's displayed rate before exchanging.

Expanded Taekwon routes skip rebirth and use Base 99 / Job 50 for third job. Baby third-job changes require Base 99 / Job 50; baby third jobs can level to Base 200 / Job 70 and have no fourth-job advancement here. The experimental Druid → Karnos → Alitea path has separate requirements shown by Brunhilde.

Open the full class progression review (PDF) for numbered classic, expanded, custom Druid, and baby class paths with local promotion requirements.

Quest routes and some regional content are still being expanded and tested. In-game NPC instructions are the authority for the current server build; report a blocked objective with its map, NPC and quest step.

05 · MemoriaRO features

Server activities and services

Prontera services

Explore the Adventurer's Board, Fashion House, Atelier, gear boxes, market and equipment services. Many cosmetics can be earned in game. The Cash Shop is for cosmetic items and does not sell stat gear.

Events and rankings

Check the Events Today panel on the website for local start times. Seasonal events, scheduled palaro activities, MVP rankings and PvP ladders have their own entry NPCs and reward rules.

WoE

War of Emperium is guild-versus-guild castle play. Confirm the current schedule on the website, join a guild, prepare supplies and follow your leader's callouts. Standard town warps are restricted inside WoE maps.

Memory Bond

Invite a friend with your website bond link. Eligible recruits and mentors earn in-game milestone rewards as the recruit levels. Read Memory Bond details for eligibility, milestones and daily limits.

Vote and support

Voting rewards are described on the Vote page. Optional support and Cash Point delivery are explained on Donate; the cash shop remains cosmetic.

Useful commands

Start with @commands for your allowed commands. Common tools include @spots, @go, @storage, @autoloot, @iteminfo, @whereis, @mobinfo, @hunt, @woe and @bug. For events, @echo shows what is on now and next, and @palaro warps you to the open event for 5,000 z (not Taguan or Tumbang Preso, where finding the spot is part of the game).

06 · Play together

Community, trading and good habits

  • Find a party or guild. Use @lfp to find party members and @ask to ask for help in game. Be clear about your level, class and activity.
  • Trade safely. Confirm the item, quantity and Zeny in the trade window before accepting. Keep account passwords private; staff will never need your password to investigate a bug.
  • Report bugs clearly. Type @bug in game or @request to contact an online GM. Include what you expected, what happened, your map and the quest/NPC involved. Never share passwords or payment details in public chat.
  • Check local time. Server schedules use Philippine time (UTC+8). The website event panel converts scheduled times for visitors where supported.
