How Memory Bond works
Bring a friend to MemoriaRO, hunt together and grow stronger together. Here is everything you both get.
1Share your code
You (mentor)
Your friendYour friend signs up with your link (or enters your code in game within 7 days, before Lv 30) and gets 10 Memory Shards right away. Find your code on My Memory Bond, at the Mentor Hall in Prontera, or with @bond.
2Play together: Mentor's Party
Hunt with your apprentices in one party on the same map and everyone in the bond gets bonus EXP. More apprentices, bigger bonus.

- Counts apprentices below Lv 200 who are online, in your party and on your map.
- Friends in the party get the same bonus, so invite them along.
- Apprentices on the mentor's own network or device don't count.
- Lead 3 or more apprentices and the whole server hears about your Mentor's Party.
3Hunt together: who gets which EXP?
The mentor fights and leads, the apprentices fight next to them. How the EXP is split depends on the level gap.
Close in level (35 or less): Even Share
Both hit the High Orc. Even Share splits its 52,470 EXP evenly between you.
Big gap (more than 35): Mentor's Guidance
Too far apart for Even Share: each keeps their own kills, and the apprentice gets Mentor's Guidance on top.
Each minute you hunt together, every apprentice below Lv 99 also gets 5% of their next level's EXP for free. Lv 30: +868 EXP/min · Lv 90: +27,377 EXP/min.
Example EXP at our 55× rates. Each player's EXP goes up or down a little with their level difference to the monster.

Be in your friend's party on the same map when they reach a level and your Shards and Points grow by half. At Lv 99 that is 15 Shards + 90 Points.
Bonus goals: play for real, earn more
Levels count your friend's highest character. "h of play" is active play time on their account. Your friend gets their reward right away; yours arrives 3 days later (in your bag, or by RODEX mail if you're offline).

Friendly rules
Memory Bond is about bringing friends in and having fun together. A few simple rules keep it fair for everyone:
1×One mentor at a time. Changed your mind? You can switch mentors once, any time before Lv 99.
Family and friends on the same Wi-Fi are welcome to play together.
now3 daysYour friend's rewards arrive right away. Mentor rewards arrive 3 days after each goal.
Either of you can end the bond any time. Everything already earned stays yours.
Bonus goals (guild, 10 h on their own, Chapter 1 story) reward real play for both of you.
Hunt together! Mentor's Guidance gives apprentices +5% of their level's EXP each minute, even across a big level gap.
3 h / dayPlease don't be your own apprentice. If a mentor and apprentice farm together from one connection for 3 hours in a day, a GM takes a friendly look. Nobody gets banned for it.
Questions & answers
I signed up without a code. Can I still get a mentor?
Yes! Enter your mentor's code with the Memory Bond icon in game or at the Mentor Hall in Prontera. It works within 7 days of making your account and before any of your characters reaches Lv 30.
How do I change my mentor?
Open the Memory Bond icon in game and tap Leave mentor (tap twice to confirm), or talk to the Mentor Hall. Then enter your new mentor's code. You can do this once, before Lv 99, and your new mentor can't be one you had before.
Do I lose anything when I leave or switch?
No. Every reward you and your old mentor already got stays yours. Goals you already reached just aren't paid again, so your new mentor is rewarded from your next goal on.
My apprentice stopped playing. Can I let them go?
Yes. Tap Release next to their name in the Memory Bond panel in game. They're free to find a new mentor, and you keep credit for every friend who reached Lv 99 with you.
My sibling and I play on the same Wi-Fi. Is that okay?
Of course! Sharing a house or an internet café is completely fine. A GM only takes a look when mentor and apprentice farm together from the same connection for 3 hours in one day. If that happens, tap We're family / same house and a GM will confirm it. After that it won't come up again.
My bond says "under review". What now?
Just keep playing! Your own rewards keep coming. Only your mentor's share waits until the GM is done. If you don't farm together from the same connection for a day, the review clears by itself.
When does my mentor reward arrive?
3 days after your friend reaches a goal. Shards go to your bag, or by RODEX mail if you're offline or your bag is too heavy. Memoria Points go to your wallet.
My mentor is max level. How do we level together?
Party up and hunt on the same field map, staying close to each other (about one screen). The mentor fights and leads; the apprentices fight too. Even Share works within 35 levels. When the gap is bigger, each apprentice gets Mentor's Guidance: +5% of their level's EXP every minute while you both play, until Lv 99. A mentor who goes AFK stops the bonus. See "Hunt together" above.
Why don't I get the Mentor's Party bonus?
Check that you're all in one party, on the same map, and that your apprentice is below Lv 200. Apprentices playing on the mentor's own network or device don't add to the bonus.
